About the studio

The design practice of GEM Information Systems.

GEMIS Studio is the product and interface design practice of GEM Information Systems. We diagnose what users actually do, redesign the screens that matter, and hand your developers something they can build — or build it ourselves, under the same roof.

Our mission

Technology should move your business forward — so we design the screen and build what we design.

×
We never sell a stage.
Developer handoff in the price.
Thirty days of aftercare.

Technology should never become another problem to manage. It should simplify operations, empower your teams, eliminate inefficiencies and give leaders the insight to decide with confidence.

Most studios hand over a file and leave. We sit inside a systems company, so what we design has to survive engineering, procurement and the first month of real users.

Every engagement is led by a senior product designer — the same person who scopes the work reviews every screen that leaves the studio. No handoffs to juniors, no account layer between you and the person designing your product.

Why work with us→
Our values

The foundation of
every build.

Great software begins with understanding people. These four principles shape how we scope, build and support every system we put into production — and why our clients stay with us long after go-live.

01People
Built around people

Before a single line of code, we learn your workflows, processes and goals — so the result is software people actually enjoy using.

02Scale
Built for scale

Businesses evolve, and your software should evolve with them — growth without rebuilding the systems you rely on every day.

03Reliability
Built for reliability

Mission-critical systems cannot fail. Our architecture prioritises stability, security, performance and maintainability.

04Partnership
Built for partnership

The relationship doesn't end at go-live — support, enhancement and optimisation continue. Software is a journey, not a destination.

How we work

Diagnose. Refresh.
Build.

Five steps, the same on every engagement. You always know where the work stands, what it costs, and what comes next.

01Diagnose
We look before we draw

A senior designer sits with your product for a week and comes back with what is actually wrong, ranked by impact — not a list of opinions.

Product Teardown · findings within 5 working days
02Fix the scope
Scope and price in writing

Every service has a published price and a defined output. The Teardown fixes your scope and price in writing before any build begins.

Published prices · no proposal cycle
03Design
The screens that matter

We map what users actually do before we redesign anything, then redesign the screens that matter to a developer-ready standard your team can build the following Monday.

Up to 12 screens · components and tokens
04Build or hand off
Nothing dies in handoff

Our developers sit two desks away. What we draw, they ship. Or we hand your developers something they can build — the handoff session is in the price.

Developer handoff in every price
05Aftercare
We stay for thirty days

Thirty days of aftercare and a support channel after every engagement, and the Teardown fee credited in full against any engagement booked within 60 days.

30 days aftercare · 60-day credit

Every engagement starts with a diagnosis and climbs only as far as you need: four services, each with a published price and a defined output.

The people

One lead, accountable
end to end.

One practice lead scopes, reviews and signs off each engagement. No junior bait-and-switch.
